Florida Oranges

Ambersweet Oranges (November - December )

A hybrid orange resulting from a cross between a Clementine x Orlando tangelo hybrid with a seedling midseason orange.   The juice has a very good flavor slightly resembling that of the Clementine and its deep orange color is far better than the Hamlin orange which is in season at the same time.  Usually has seeds.  This orange can be virtually seedless when grown in solid grove blocks, but can also be seedy in mixed variety grove plantings.

Honeybells  (January Only)

Honeybells are Minneola Tangelos and are a tangerine-grapefruit hybrid. Medium to very large, round to somewhat bell shaped.  Deep orange to red orange color with smooth to pebbly peel.  Few seeds in this delicious tangelo.  You'll have to order early if you want to enjoy their marvelous flavor because their season is limited to January only.

Navel Oranges (November - February)

The most favorite of all our customers!  Large to extra large fruit, round to oval, deep yellow to orange color.  Usually seedless.  Peels and sections very easily.  Our Best Seller.

Pineapple Oranges (Mid January - March)

An excellent juice or eating orange.  A midseason fruit, medium to large size, round to oval, orange color, pebbly peel.  Has seeds.  The Pineapple orange is acclaimed for it juicy sweetness.

Red Navel Oranges (November - February)

Red Navels have a red color inside and are similar to the regular navel.  Usually seedless.  Peels and sections very easily.

**Note:  Red Navels are colorful but "do not" have the flavor as the regular navel***

Tangerines (November-April)

Different tangerine varieties come in season from November - April.  All tangerines have many seeds.  We do not guarantee highly perishable tangerines for shipment.

Valencia Oranges (March-June)

The last orange of the season.   Medium to large size, round to oval shape, yellow to orange color (sometimes tinged with green) with a smooth thin peel.  Usually seedless or with only a few seeds.  Valencias have orange colored flesh, which is loaded with golden juice of tine rich favor and aroma.
